SOUS CHEF

We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join our small friendly team at The Red Church in St George.

The Red Church is a new venture from the team behind The Christmas Steps and The Spotted Cow with a great reputation for food. With a focus on fresh local ingredients, our kitchen delivers a hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner menu with an emphasis on innovation and quality.

This role will suit an enthusiastic new team member who is looking to progress and to help maintain our reputation and standards whilst bringing their own influence to the kitchen whilst working with our Head Chef.

We make everything fresh in house and our menu consists of modern British pub classics as well as a selection of small plates. We are especially renowned for our popular Sunday roast.

This is a great opportunity to work delivering good quality food in an independent environment. The candidate would have a good amount of experience. Must have great organisational skills and be a hardworking, reliable, dynamic, approachable, responsible individual. You’ll be required to assist with the successful running of this busy kitchen when high standards and speed are essential ingredients.
